THE PROCESS 🧵🪡

Inspiration 

I’m always inspired by every season. For example, in the spring I like to use flower patterns, in summertime are fruits, fall and winter season is the fluffy teddy fabrics and teddy bear patterns. The brand image is also inspired by the girly side and the feminine inside of us. The cozier environments are also a big inspiration for my creations because Selene pouches are supposed to make you feel happy and safe!

Creative Process

The process begins with choosing the best patterns and colors combination, which is my favorite part, looking for fabrics and matching them with the inside and the outside patterns! The challenges I did face were to find the best way to make the pouches, because there’s a lot of ways and different measurements to make one, so the first year it was a lot of trial and error till I found what worked best for me and looked better at the end.

Sewing

In the sewing process, everything is made carefully and with love! It takes me 20min to 1 hour to make just one pouch! But it's the most fun, creating and giving a life to fabrics. 

 

Packaging 

I love to do the packaging! I always feel like i'm wrapping a present 💗🎁 but also takes so much time. Must of the time it takes me one full day just to wrap 10 orders. Every order is packed with so much love and I try to pack it as creative and cutesy as possible!
